Surprise visitors of two very different types

On this week’s Vinyl Café episode the Story Exchange tale has an AU Fraser in it. No, really. You’ll know him when you hear it. There’s no mistaking him.

In completely other news, the undead... )

due south, the walking dead

The comics are a great read if you're interested in more of the world, though they've deviated wildly on many many counts from them for the show so it's not like you'd get quite the same experience. Daryl, for example, is a new character for the show, not in the comics. I adore the comics even when they suck, so I'm very biased. I like the show sometimes and other times I find it very slow and some of the decisions they make with the characters make me want to scream since I'm invested in the originals, you know? Rick and Lori are a MUCH stronger couple in the comics and I miss that; also, there was way, way less baby daddy drama which I am so not into.

Daryl is a good addition though - I like him a lot. I'm waiting for Andrea to become the BAMF she is in the comics - she's not bad here, but in the comics she is DYNAMITE, yo. :)

I was considering the comics - I should check if they're in our library. It's tricky, I usually find that whatever I come to first (tv series, movie, book, radio series) I like better than any other incarnations ( ... )
