It Just Comes Natural, by the_astronomer, Wes/Eric

Ha! I've created a monster. This is number two in the PRSW7. And it actually has continuity with 'Glasses.' And yet again I was supposed to be doing homework. Procrastination is my friend. I really should spend more time on these, but 45 minutes seems to be the average time for my stuff. We'll see what happens. The title is from the new George ( Read more... )

Hah, very cute! I like obsessive!Wes, and the line about 'every day he doesn't try to kill me is good' really cracked me up. Above and beyond the Wes/Eric-ness, you captured the panic attack feeling of a first date with someone you really, really like and want to impress very well.

One teeny-weeny correction: it should be 'More time for Eric and me'.

Speaking of which, do we get to see the date and the time alone later?

It seems as though my cuteness time is after Midnight. I figured Wes would find it oddly comforting that Eric, who previously tried many times to hurt/kill him, stopped all of that. It's not exactly something you forget about. And I had me written there, but my weird 1 AM brain changed it, so I'll fix that....

I was going to try and write the date scene last night, but in order to do it justice I have to wait for more time. So yes, the date and time alone will be written. I haven't quite figured out how to approach it, but something will come to me. Thanks for the review!

Ah yes, sometimes inspiration is set free when one is tired/sleepy/drunk/sick/whatever. The result is what counts! :)

Actually I don't think Eric ever tried to kill Wes. Hurt, yes, but not kill. At least not seriously, unless I missed something.

Not kill him directly I suppose, but almost letting him fall into a huge pit in the earth kind of counts. And the way I see it, Eric never really wanted to hurt Wes. It was more of he didn't have anyone/thing else to take out his anger on, so what better than the source of frustration? I think the threats were empty. Their whole relationship just really made me want to see the stuff between End of Time and Reinforcements. Wouldn't that have been wonderful?

Eric let Wes fall, but then risked his own neck to save him... at least that's the way I like to see it.

I like your theory. And yeah, it would be wonderful to see what happened between EoT and RFtF - but if Saban filmed it, it would be unfortunately not slashy. So that's what fanfic is for!
