It started the day ShiWon skipped off to America on a "family vacation" and the next day the internet was flooded with pictures of him and Stella Kim. Somewhere along the way, in his not so many years in Korea, HanKyung had fallen for the other boy's good looks and natural charm.
Of course he couldn't admit this to Korea's Number One Greasy Boy, but that didn't mean he wasn't entitled to indulging in jealous fits every now and then when he saw the other boy flirting with the girls that were constantly flocking to him. But flirting was one thing -- these pictures were something else entirely.
"I can help you."
He was practicing with Cheon Sang Ji Hee's Stephanie, during his breaks complaining to her about how unfair it was that ShiWon could skip off to America just to see his girlfriend. But Stephanie was no moron -- she understood what was going on better than he had anticipated. But her offer was what surprised him most.
"What?"
"I can help you. I've never really liked Stella. What do you want to do?"
"N-Nothing! Why would I want to do anything to her?"
But Stephanie only leveled him with her cool gaze and he looked around nervously, as if expecting someone to be eavesdropping, before finally whispering...
"I want to make sure that she never goes any further in this industry."
"I can arrange that."
If only HanKyung had known what that would mean, he never would have agreed to let Stephanie help in.
In a couple weeks, ShiWon and Stella were broken up. It seemed a natural thing -- relationships in the entertainment industry were often short lived. She was already getting threatening letters from fans, so she knew it was wise to move away from ShiWon.
And then, just as HanKyung was about to tell Stephanie that her efforts were appreciated, but it was okay now, there came news that one SM Entertainment trainee by the name of Stella Kim had been run over by a car and was now never going to be able to walk again.
The smile Stephanie gave him as she passed by him on the way to the locker room sent shivers down his spine.
kyuwook; for
soulfulmaverick The moment KyuHyun sits him down, tells him, I don't think this is working out anymore, RyeoWook knows and nothing hurts worse than his suspicions being confirmed.
You understand, right?
In KyuHyun's eyes is a hope, a wish, for forgiveness. Because he knows, too, and for a moment RyeoWook wants to say, No. I don't understand. Why don't you explain? just to see what KyuHyun would do.
Instead, he forces a casual smile and nods. Aa. It wasn't working out, anyway.
haemin; for
gimmick_ ( + donghae/bora )
I hope you rot in hell, because I never want to see your face again.
And how soon SungMin would get that wish he didn't know, but maybe if he did he wouldn't have been so harsh. Then again, maybe DongHae shouldn't have let Bora kiss him.
You don't understand!
But even he knew it was too late past this point. The next several months before he would have to face the inevitable were going to be hell.
hanhae; for
jaded_skys "So it's over?"
The look on DongHae's face wasn't so much incredulous as one might have expected, but more mild, calm.
This was almost exactly like how they'd gotten together.
So...should we kiss now?
It was easy. Easy to be together, just as easy to be apart. HanKyung liked that about them.
"Yeah. I guess it is."
"Cool."
kangteuk; for
bokchil It ended in a shower of broken glass. EeTeuk was grabbing for anything heavy and near enough that he could aim at KangIn's head. So far he had missed every strike, but only because KangIn was doing his best to duck every blow.
This display wasn't very common, but EeTeuk could get scary when upset. Scary in an almost feminine way, which was the truly terrifying thing about it. Needless to say, every other Super Junior boy had already turned tail and run. Well, everyone except RyeoWook, who had had to be woken up and dragged off.
That left KangIn alone, to face the terrible Scylla on his own, Charibdis being the corner of the kitchen he couldn't get away from.
As he was contemplating where things had gone so horribly wrong -- though it should have been obvious that one does not go around kissing other people when one is in an established relationship -- he failed to properly duck the vase that EeTeuk was now tossing at his head. It scraped the side of his head and shit that was going to hurt in the morning.
But not as much as EeTeuk stalking over, punching him in the face, and stomping out hissing, "It's over."
miyavi/tatsurou; for
kentan ( + tatsurou/yukke)
"Sometimes I think you like your best friend more than you like me."
"That's because it's true."
And that was that, because Miyavi couldn't stand to have anyone around whose attention wasn't wholey focused on him.
"You planned it that way, didn't you?" Satochi asked, coming in from where he had been blatantly eavesdropping in.
Tatsurou only flashed him a smile and asked for where YUKKE was.
hyde/yunho; for
kentan No
One little world, but so hard to say, especially when he's standing there in front of you, taunting you with a little packet of heaven, tempting you so that you almost give in because it would be so easy, easy, easy...
Except there's someone else depending on you right now and they're only asking for one thing but why does that one thing have to be this and why does it have to be so hard and what are you supposed to do tomorrow when the craving kicks in and it's not there?
We'll work through it...
Slender fingers through your hair, warm arms wrapped tight around you, trying hard to stop the trembling that doesn't come from a fever or a cold just from your own personal weakness and a desire for something that shouldn't be.
No
Because you're stronger now.
No
Because you don't need him anymore.
No
Because you don't need this anymore.
No no no no no
No.
ryuhyun; for
anestel KiHyun doesn't talk to Ryu for a week after the fact. The entire group is on edge, because KiHyun's already becoming more distant even on camera.
"You're screwed, you know," Lio says to Ryu across the table over breakfast. KiHyun's still sleeping, so it's safe.
Ryu drops his head onto the table. Too bad Chris had just slipped his plate of eggs and toast in front of him, because now his hair is sticky with yolk and forehead spotty with crumbs.
Lio laughs, because how can anyone not, but what's surprising is the sound of laughter behind Ryu as KiHyun enters the kitchen and takes a seat.
There's something disconcerting about how naturally it flows from his lips, from the way said lips curve up into a smile as he greets everyone and sits down to his own breakfast.
"You're screwed," TaeHwa whispers on the way out to the van later.
"I know." Ryu gulps.

It's not really a break up, because how can you break up with someone you never technically dated? A couple torrid affairs every now and then, when he just happened to be in the mood... That's not really a relationship.
Or so DongHae tells himself. Except he knows he invested more of his heart into those nights than ShiWon had been expecting.
"You know this is just sex, right?"
"Right."
Wrong. Because it hurts more than it should to find HeeChul in ShiWon's bed, the younger of the two smiling down at him, stroking his cheek gently and looking at him with such a warmth in his eyes that DongHae's never had the pleasure of experiencing before. And never could.
It's not a break up. But something's certainly broken inside DongHae.
jaehochul; for
gliu_stick It's easy to pretend to be unwittingly damaging to YunHo's relationships with girls; not so much to his relationships with men. Particularly when one of those men is Kim JaeJoong, who is not quite so vapid as he appears.
JaeJoong is, however, just as sensitive as those prats YunHo's dated in the past. And a well timed kiss to the other's cheek that might have been a little closer to his mouth than normal is just enough to cause the fireworks he needs.
Within a week, YunHo is in his lap, wondering how it all went so wrong. HeeChul is ready to offer him comfort in more than just a pat on the back and a few reassuring words.
kyuhae; for
leiyuzhen It's really very simple. Just three words, and then DongHae will leave him alone. Except KyuHyun only laughs, and responds with, "But we're only kids, hyung!"
It's startling, and the scene looks like it should be reversed. But DongHae has always been more idealistic than KyuHyun. It's all or nothing, for him. And if KyuHyun can't say the words, then...
"Fine. I hate you, too."
And it's over, KyuHyun never quite realizing what he did wrong.
miyavi/kangin; for
hamano_michiyo KangIn's not sure how it ended. Hell, he's not sure how it started. Then again, language barriers are nothing in the face of hormonal attraction, and he shouldn't have expected it to last longer than it did.
"In case you hadn't noticed," Miyavi had told him with a sharp glare, "I'm very high maintenance."
So were Korean girls, but he understood this was in a different way. As young and full of energy as KangIn was, however, there was no way to keep up with Miyavi's mood swings. They were worse than HeeChul's random bouts of emo. And HeeChul at least preferred to throw things at the wall, and not KangIn's head.
So back to Korea it was for him, because Koreans were apparently saner than Japanese. Which was a scary thought even to him.
