Ah, the drama, the drama.
So The Afterwards has broken up once and for all, which is a good thing, because I was really getting sick of having to deal with the same songs, the same shows, and the same crap from our singer. So we broke up. And I like it....I feel free once again, free to play whatever I want, and be the musician I was meant to be.
Heh...now I feel like watching free willy or something........heh...that movie creeped me out. It's not a good thing when your movie is called Free Willy and Michael Jackson is doing the soundtrack....if you catch my drift.
I can't wait to see if we're actually going to play that show this Sunday, with
Boy Robot Malfunction. That's going to be a crazy show; my dad might spot in for keyboard and percussion. Also, we might soon have someone play violin for us. Now, if only we could get a cello, then the ensemble would be complete. I've always wanted to have an experimental band with classical instruments in there. There's so much depth you can achieve with orchestral instruments; it brings in an element that can't be achieved through the normal rock instrument linup.
A Maxwell street polish sounds nice right about now......
