Didn't have any, nor do I have any this year. I've never kept any of the previous resolutions.

China, niece's baptism, niece's birthday, new year's eve, my first job, the cruises.

16. What song will always remind you of 2008?
Several. I'll only list the ones I enjoyed though. Sister Rose (Ian Brown), On Track (Ian Brown), Peter Cushing lives in Whitstable (The Jellybottys), Bonnie & Clyde (Serge Gainsbourg & Birgitte Bardot), Womanizer & Piece of me (Britney Spears), Harder Better Faster Stronger (Daft punk)... there are probably more, but I guess we'll find out. I might even be wrong about some of the songs I mentioned; I might not think of 2008 at all.

17. Compared to this time last year, you are:
i. happier or sadder? Happier and sadder at the same time.
ii. thinner or fatter? Slightly fatter, but not much.

I spent it at home with 6 other wonderful people, a really nice dinner, fun conversations and delicious drinks.

21. What was the most embarrassing thing that happened to you in 2008?
I should inform you that I am an expert in repressing memories that aren't worth remembering. There are two years of my life that are completely blank.

22. Did you fall in love in 2008?
No, well, unless you count Bill Bailey, but I've never met him so... you decide. ;)

23. How many one-night stands?
Well, only one 1-nighter, but that doesn't mean I haven't had more or less casual sex with other people...

Nevermind the buzzcocks, House M.D., Smallville, 2 ½ men, The IT Crowd

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
No, not much for hating; if I dislike a person then why should I waste my energy on them? That would be a reward for the fucktard in question.

26. What was the best book you read?
When was the last Harry Potter book published? Was it '08? Other than that, I don't remember actually.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?

The other Boleyn Girl, Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix (even though I was disappointed), Mamma Mia!

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 24 and the following saturday I had a big birthday party. Best birthday in my life; I think.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
If the things I wanted to happen actually did happen. See above answers.

All the friends that don't live close to me.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
Anastasia, Michaela, Kristian

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008.
Always stand up for yourself! People are stupid, they need everything to be spelled out for them. I don't know, but it sounds good. Oh yes, I have also learned to be more blunt, and I avoid depressing things (and I'm honest with everyone about it). I need to take care of myself and my own problems; I'm allowing myself to be slightly egoistical; you have to be!

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.

She said "Call me Sister Rose, I'm at war with all these posers and these frauds, I want'em out, let freedom reign, let hope stand firm on fields of doubt"

She said "I'm just like a rose, I'm beautiful and I can hurt you with my thorns. Don't squeeze too tight, 'cause I can blow up in your face like dynamite."
Sister Rose - Ian Brown
