Fun times in Guatemala!
So me and Jenny and Luis went out last night to this salsa club, and I wore previously said shoes, which turned out to be a hassle, and at the end of the night I was wishing I was in RVA again so I wouldve felt safe enough to take off shoes and walk barefoot. All in all it was a good night, and I only had like a beer and a half. We played many games of ping pong, some pool. Danced with a few guys which was fun, even with said shoes on. Got hit on quite a bit, but it was pretty funny since I dont speak hardly any spanish Jenny was translator and it was just weird and awkward. Had a "date" with one of the boys tonight, which I skipped out on, due to the fact that I cant speak spanish, and its been cloudy here all day, and Jenny didnt feel like being translator and sitting in awkward silences, and I didnt really feel like drinking again tonight and stuff. Yeah walking back to Jennys apt was interesting last night. Down the cobbled street her place is on I had her and Luis on each side of me as I kept stumbling due to stupid shoes...haha, but it was fun.
I took my first shower, bath today since monday!!! Its quite a process. And Jenny doesnt have any water right now which sucks. But yeah, you gotta boil water in a pot, then mix it with cold water in a bucket, and then use another bucket thingy to pour water over head and body and such, and some animal had pooped in the shower area so I ended up bathing in the toilet area. Yeah. good times, But Im clean!!! HOOOT!!!
Havent really done much today, took a nap earlier. Its been cloudy and kinda a chill day so yeah.
Jenny got good news about her job today so shes happier which is cool. And she got a myspace!!! yayaya!!!
And I managed to get a sunburn at some point, I noticed yesterday.
Anyways. I DONT WANNA GO HOME! I dont wanna have to deal with life and stuff. But yes, things must be taken care of. Must go to school. Must....do....something.....
