"I will not wear this." Ulquiorra held the paper party hat disdainfully between his thumb and forefinger. "It looks ridiculous."
"Now, now," Aizen chastised softly with a wag of his finger. "Grimmjow is the birthday boy, and he says if you don't wear it, you won't get any cake."
Grimmjow smirked, licking a generous dollop of icing from his finger, running his tongue along the digit with painstaking care.
"...Fine." Ulquiorra snapped the elastic over his chin in a businesslike fashion and folded his hands. "But I absolutely refuse to make balloon animals."
