anywayz, ive watched davinci code, xmen3, and the lotr series (again) what would be the common factor in these three movies? theyre all taken from literature (comics is literature) and i havent read the lotr yet but im dissapointed on how they always try to fit in everything in a movie, by that it loses its essence.. im hella dissapointed on the davinci code. all the thrill of the story was taken out. i didnt like how sophie was portrayed, she wasnt as witty and intiguing as on the novel. hrmm what else bout davinci code? a friend of mine said that it was draggy, i say it was too much fast-forwaded.. for me, it's a 6.5/10 but then yah, u gotta consider that i read the book (as did a million other people did) and yah, it was a dissapointment for me.. i gotta be fair though, the effects and the "photographic" memory of langdon was visually great, so was audrey tatou. Sir Ian Mckellen/Gandalf/Magneto did a great job portrayin Teabing! Silas wasnt scary enough though, but that scourging scene was scary though, including the ass. hahaha! gotta love that guy! i think all those people who is saying this and that about the story havent read/saw the story yet! i mean, its not all that worth the fuss..
xmen the last stand was great but it was a major change on the original story of the pheonix in xmen though, i mean she didnt die(woops spoiler!(",)), she and cyclops even had a flock of children, two of them are class 5 mutants also!(",) but then visually it was great! it was "COOL" when iceman turned iceform.(",) owww!(",) soo much highschool drama on iceman though! parang oc amp!(",) but then yah, kitty pryde was cute though, and rogue was kinda chubby('_') angel's wings were hella cool though, but it looked gay when he was flying, can anyone tell me where else u saw that guy? he looks hella familiar. one thing also, he had his picture in the poster while he just flew by like 3 times in the movie.. daputa! jean grey was "hot" though, really hot, no pun intended(",) i didnt like the thought that the xmen (the good mutants) were killing mutants just like that, i mean, it was kinda awkward to see, except in the case of wolverine, actually, wolverine was the only who was really killing, all the others were just knocking them down. the endin was really shockin though, what happened to magneto was beyond anything i expected. the b-list mutants were hella cool also, calisto the fast girl was hot, and her catfight with storm was cool, the guy from rush hour the porcupine dude wasnt cool though, colossus was astig especially when he turns metal, kitty pryde was great! super! well yah.. ill give it 8/10 though, it was visually great! but it had flaws on the storyline though, that comes from someone who knows the storyline, so yah, that was hella nerdy!(",)
next up, the epic, the starting line for preety boy orlando bloom. LORD OF THE RINGS! damn, ive been all over the saga nowadays, ive been rewatching the three movies, just finished with fellowship of the ring, and the defense of helms deep. I think aragorn lacks fan love though, i mean, yah.. he was overshadowed by goldilocks. but if you really see what he does, he's hella better than goldilocks. gimli also lacks fan love, i mean he's small and he kicks ass, i mean, cant we filipinos (manny pacquiao) "feel" that?(",) Gandalf was cool though, especially that time when he fought the balrog while falling down, and his super flashlight wand/staff. the hobbits are worthy of applause, they were hella great actors, and they're part in the story was the most important part (duh) i really felt the part of frodo, except the gayness of samwise the brave though, i mean frodo wanted to do it alone (malamang to get away from samwise the queer) but noooo, sam had to fake drowning so that frodo would save him. daputa!(",) i mean, if he had to have companions why not goldilocks, the dwarf, and the king.. <-what a motley crew(",) and did u notice how much politics were squeezed into the story coz frodo left the fellowship (tanginang fellowship yan, nasira kagad amp!) but then yah, it all came root to the dark influence of the ring, its hold on men's greed, i mean it was kinda sad but true how in the story the men were the inferior race, why? coz they were men, easily manipulated by gold, women, horses (ROHAN!), white hot elf ladies, white hot elfs that look like ladies (goldilocks!). but then if i have something to say about the elfs, they were like god, wise, generous, loving, understanding but men wont listen to him, coz theyre all jealous of goldilocks. but then lets not deny, goldilocks was cool, not hella cool, cool lng(",) but then yah, if u play the game, u cannot not choose goldilocks, i mean u wouldnt win if u go all out melee, by the way, aragorn also has a bow. well yah, what else? it was visually invigorating, averaging with 2 15 min. or longer war scenes per movie, great scenery, i mean i think i wouldnt even have imagined that if i were reading the book, gruff men, girly elves, and one dwarf <-isnt that unfair? there's only one dwarf?! and a million blonde girly elves?! tolkien was being a bit racist i think.. i'd give it a 10 (duh) i mean for some it might be a drag but then everything that happened in the story were all connected from the time legolas killed the elephant singlehandedly and slid down it from the moments of sam and frodo, i mean theyre both really really gay!(",) deh!(",) pero yah, if u think about it, it preety much sums up life... one thing that really hit me though is the fact that a hobbit was the ring bearer, and he didnt want the burden but as gandalf said, (not exact words, only the "magic" beneath it) its not for us to choose what task is given to us, its the time that is given to us to choose and act on the task that is given to us. im preety much sure if i got the exact words id give the essence of it more justice though(",) and with everything bad, the only way to destroy it is to get to where it happened, in our cases, any argument can be solved with coming back to the root of it and saying sorry. burning it in the flames whence it came from. what else? saying no to something is hard but it can be done by just walking away, not doing anything else like suicide or whatever. so yah, bad stuff makes people crazy, (you wanna be like gollum???) so yah, even though how precious stuff may seem to be, u can always turn away from it, even though its calling you, you can always walk away. that was what made frodo great, he could have just thrown it away, but no he had to carry the burden, like jesus(",) so yah, they're a whole lot more of realizations to it, but then yah, whats yours?(",) <-comment on that naman o(",) so yah, love the trilogy, if im lazy in ateneo id want to read the books though, also the proplogue to it.(",)
