First of all, does the phrase "illegal immigrants" mean anything. The word illegal is there, and it always has been. I understand that "this country relies on cheap labor" and other such claims which are true. But is that what we want this country to be?
It angers me to live life in this country and deal with individuals who cannot even speak the predominant language of this country. And now these very people want rights, when they refuse (in general) to aCCEPT THE STANDARDS? This very well could be the downfall of this country. Yes, immigrants work for reduced wages. But if anyone believes this will remain that way they will be labeled ignorant. If it is constantly accepted they, like anyone else would, will eventually demand higher wages so they can enjoy the luxuries a typical american does. If this becomes a trend, then more people will want to be in our country to recieve the same benefit. In the end we need to discourage the influx of people into this country or it will become out of controll. If we accept this we are sending a message to the world.... Vacancy...! like a crowded motel that will offer a stairwell or porch to all those who want a place to rest thier bones.. and thier 7 childrens bones.
