Two of my friends got married this month, both to wonderful women. I enjoyed attending the weddings and wish them the best on their many happy years to come.
My friend Jason rode my motorcycle to my house, and it's now secured, for the first time actually, in my garage. His lovely wife and children were following close behind, and it was nice to have them over for a short while. The bike had been taking a short vacation at his place after being moved from the Den for restoration work. Logistically, this was much easier for me than trying to get someone to tag along with me down to his place to bring my car back, so I'm most grateful. I'm pleased that the stuck carb float may have finally been shook loose.
A friend and I placed third in a bar trivia contest that we entered on a whim. There seemed to be little rhyme or reason to the questions. "Which team won the first Superbowl" strikes me as infinitely easier than "What Boston nightclub burned down in 1947(?), killing X many people" even though I'm no sports fan.
My home network started throwing some weird errors today, so I've just patched my desktop directly into the cable modem for now. No problems with a direct connection. I hate chasing network gremlins down, but I usually learn something in the process.
Ninja Gaiden is very difficult, but it rewards the effort you put into learning the combat system.
