Watched this weeks episode of Dr Who...
Scared the freakin' bajessas out of me!!! Seriously, I whimpered and squirmed and wanted to hide behind the couch in true I'm-only-six-years-old style. Probably because it was far too reminiscent of the ghost stories we told when I was six years old.
There used to be a convent at the back of my street (then abandoned, now demolished) and we used to go to the little bit of woods near it where there was a tree swing and tell stories about the white nun. The only one that ever sticks out in my head was the one about a statue and school girls and one saying taht everytime they looked away it was moving closer, of course none of the other girls believe her and when they turn around the statue has it's hands around her neck and she's dead.
I' sure most places have a similar story, but these kind of stupid stories always made me really uneasy and twitchy as a child and they still do. Hell, flushing the toilet at night scares me if there aren't any lights on, I'm convinced there's something in the dark that's gonna get me.
I have an over-active imagination. Sometimes it's my friend, come nighttime it really really isn't.
Or maybe I'm just a big scaredy cat :p
Unrelated Add-on: Did anyone else know there's an Eating Out 2?
