Obligatory christmas update
So yes, christmas was good. It was quiet and didn't feel as christmassy as usual, but it was good. No arguments, not even when we went round to see that fucking bitch that I'm slowly beginning to refuse to call sister Cathryn and Robert.
Got's me a new MP3 player - I like it, it has proper controls instead of one of thoise stupid toggle switch thingies. Also, got the traditional teddy and nightwear, lotsa needed underwear and socks, a mini hip flask on a keyring complete with a cranberry shot, a watch, a shoe jewellery box, celebrations, JUMBO CRAYONS!!! and other miscellaneous stuff. A pretty good haul.
Best christmas moment was my dad opening the present I got him because he totally wasn't expecting what he got (Rolling Stones - Exile On Main Street) and it was nice to actually see a surprised expression on his face for once. He thought it was Kate Bush. His birthday's in January, so that's that sorted. Huzzah!
Other thing I love about christmas? Another day where I'm allowed to dress a little more eccentric. I was in a green froofed out bridesmaid dress with christmas ribbon tied around my wait and glitter round my eyes, so the joke was that I was a christmas tree (^_^) And I finally got to wear the two-tone green-gold jacket that I've had for about a year and a half - yay!
