Not sure about this since it might send the message that they're encouraging newcomers to go out and fight darkness monsters, but Darwin's guide could be useful.

If they get a package and not just a brochure type thing, maybe included could be a little thumb drive with documents like that. Or if it's digital, a link like you said.
