this was wonderful and charming and moving and it tugged at my heartstrings so much.

I really liked this very vulnerable proud picture you painted of Sherlock and also the utter utter devotion John holds for him even though he can't really explain it.

I just stumbled in this fandom (because I finally watched this show ....and maybe I should have waited for the second season argh suspense) and I'm enjoying it a lot and your fic contributed to it a lot, because it is a wonderfully thought through charcter study (also Mycroft! In my head he is a total Sherlock/John shipper^^)

Welcome to the fandom! Despite the nefarious cliff hangers we are constantly subjected to by Moffat and Gatiss it's a comfy place over all. I'm so glad you took so much out of this! :) Thank you for commenting. A hopelessly devoted John is one of my favorites, because putting him in that position forces him to be both squishy and a bad ass.
