Nanowrimo
Because life isn’t busy enough, I’ve decided to do Nanowrimo in a more official capacity this year. (Which is to say I’ve done it in an unofficial capacity in the past. Which is to say I’ve said “Yes, I’m totally doing it,” and then never finished.)
Back in the spring (before the BB began) I concepted a story I thought was worth telling. A Supernatural fanfic, naturally, but I soon found that it would be longer than anything I had written before.
And then the Big Bang did begin and the story was never written. I’m using Nanowrimo as an excuse/kick in the ass to finish/begin this story. The goal is to get the first draft finished this month and then, as I edit it and pretty it up (with the help some betas of course) I plan to make it a WIP and begin posting the bugger.
I bring it up here for no reason other than to satisfy my writerly ego and say “WHEEE! Look at my new project!” Also to say, if any of you have likewise been sucked into Nanowrimo and have an account and are seeking writing buddies you may certainly look me up if you wish. My pseudonym is proxy_dialogue on the Nanowrimo website. There is an excerpt and everything, because when I cheat, I cheat all the way baby.
