ISO an old fic
I don't remember much, it starts with Prowl and Jazz as sparklings, Prowl never allows Jazz to go over to his house and they always go to Jazz's. Prowls caretaker is very distant and exacting and never has anything positive to say to prowl, I remember something about a dining room scene where prowl was hoping for praise and I think he was told it was acceptable but could improve, or something, I just remember thinking his parent was a cruel jerk. Later his parent required he start "training" and every time it left his doorwings mangled and he would ask "why" but never get an answer. Jazz later finds out whats going on and I think Prowl went to live with Jazz and his parents. Its been several years since I read it so I could be totally off.
