CHALLENGE POST!! ^_^
Now that we're approaching Christmas and New Year we have decided to have a challenge for all you lovely people :)
Challenge:
Take a particular scene from either comics, cartoons, movies or of your own fic that has been published prior to this challenge (not RP) any verse, that involves Prowl, Jazz or both. Now write a fic that describes what happened in that scene from another mech's POV. The mech doing the narrating can also be either Prowl or Jazz.
Put a unique spin on the event, use your imagination to embellish certain canonical happenings, the background scenes, thoughts, feelings, secret relationships that maybe only the narrating mech is aware of, be creative. You can even draw or create arts acting out or depicting that particular scene that you've chosen.
As it's close to christmas (and we had a fair amount of dark/somber fic in the last challenge) we're going to ask for no themes that are too dark. Let's put a bit of festive spirit into our bots and brighten things up for them, shall we?
Rules:
No less than 500 words.
The narrator can be any mech as long as the story involves Prowl and/or Jazz.
No role playing.
Dark themes to be avoided if possible: character death (primarily Prowl or Jazz), non con, gore, snuff, necro, excessive violence (some degrees of BDSM) etc
(if you need a dark part of the plot to happen in order to make the fic lighter afterwards just email/pm and ask us first).
If you use a scene from your own fic it must already be posted and again involve Prowl and/or Jazz
Only use scenes from your own fic if you do choose this option - do not use anyone else's fic unless you have prior permission which must be credited in the header.
All fics and art must be put behind an LJ lock
Anything above PG 13 must be locked to the community

For a change we're going to award a prize for the best fic, so there will be a vote once the challenge is closed and callykarishokka over on deviantart has kindly agreed to make a pair of prowlxjazz hatchlings that we're going to give away as a prize.
If you do not wish to be entered into the vote but still want to take part, just put a note in your header to opt out of the voting and we mods will award every participant a participation banner for your own journal :)
The challenge starts from 3rd December 2012 until midnight 3rd January GMT.
