DEEPEST APOLOGIES
Sorry that its been so long since I last updated...not too much has been going on...I guess I've been job-shadowing with a few dentists...
This basically entails me standing around in cramped quarters and feeling weird for openly staring at some poor patient as cavities are filled, teeth are pulled and root-canaled, and awkwardest of all, partials and dentures are fitted. Turns out that even the coolest dude looks like a hucklebuck when they only have two teeth in their mouth. The good news is that despite the fact that the dentist i'm shadowing is a chain smoking, coffee addicted, extremely conservative, avid NRA member, hunter and fisherman, (the total opposite of my own quiet and gentle dentist) I still havnt been scared out of becoming a dentist myself...in fact, I bet I could totally do it.
The summer is going by fast :( the only good thing about this is that brett and my family are going on an Alaskan cruise at the end of August! Yippee! :)
