I love their interaction! I think that is what makes this sad in a way, because you know the end of the movie.

Thank you! The end of the movie is just heartbreaking, isn't it? You read fics and think about how it all ended in the movie, and you just want to flail at the angst.

Which is why it's so appealing to me. I love the angst. ;)
