So, I've been working on a musical composition whose working title is Feast of the Penitent Dead.
I'm looking for suggestions on titles...
I have the sheet music posted as well as .wav files exported from the "Music Processor" (like a Word Processor for sheet music), which can give a general gist of what I'm aiming at. If you would like to give it a listen and provide me feed back I'd be more than happy to invite you to the Docs so you can listen and what not.
A bit about it...
Its all music for a funeral - its like a prayer for the dead for souls in purgatory (yes, I'm an Atheist - what does it matter in music comp?), an offering of sorts. I've thought about going for the gusto and turning it into a cantata or oratorio or not. Currently its written for STB, Tubular Bells, and Piano. It is supposed to be its own kind of weird narrative.
Thanks.
P.S.: I know its a touch repetitive, but its what I was shooting for. A lot of my musical inspiration comes from the minimalist composers... Like Philip Glass, Steve Reich, and John Adams.
