Winter in Iraq

I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable New Years.
Nothing much had changed for us here. We go out, we come back in, Its dusty and hot during the day and cold at night. It's winter here now and some mornings are in the high 30's low 40's. The heater/AC in my truck is fantastic. At night the AC works really well.... and during the daytime it converts into a blast furnace.
BGen. Rhodever (48 Brigade Cmdr) put out in a speech that he wants 80-90% of the Brigade home by the end of May. He's said things in speeches before that haven't come through so no-one putting a lot of stock in what he says. But we can hope right?
