Scott and I had a great valentine's weekend. We went to Downtown Detroit for the winterblast festval with Sam and Ryan. While there we walked around the city, went to the festival, had a great vday dinner at Andiamo, went out to the Old Shellegliah (sp?), and stayed at the Marriot Ren Cen. We had a great mini-getaway. Then on Sunday morning we went out for breakfast, shopped at bit at Somerset, and then caught the movie Valentine's Day on the way home. (It was very good, by the way). Once home, we made a pizza, did some spring break vacay research, and played Mario Wii.
It was a great weekend with the man I love (who also gave me a pair of beautiful pearl and diamond earings--wow!) I have today off, so I have been doing grad school homework and have a dentist appointment in a bit (that I am nervous for, like a 5 year old).
I'm already looking forward to next weekend--a night out with friends to Dave and Busters, back to Detroit for a night, and then Scott's family is coming to see our new place. :) Live for the weekends.
