Mark Sheppard will be back
Leverage returns to TNT this summer for its fourth season. It premieres on Sunday, June 26 at 9PM. All of the usual suspects will be back in the crew - Nate, Sophie, Eliot, Parker, and Hardison - and now there's news of the return of a nemesis as well.
According to TVLine,
"Leverage fans can count on the return of Mark Sheppard's slithery Sterling at some point during Season 4."
Mark Sheppard is certainly a fan favorite in most of his roles (which include Supernatural, Chuck, Warehouse 13, Battlestar Galactica, and an upcoming appearance on Doctor Who), so even though he's in no way in the crew's good graces, fans are happy to hear he's returning (and "slithery" is a perfect way to describe Sterling). Sheppard was in seven episodes throughout seasons 1 and 2 of the TNT drama. His character, Sterling, was last seen in the season 2 finale, 'The Maltese Falcon Job,' when he and the FBI caught up with Nate, who, bleeding, gave himself up as the rest of the crew got away. He wasn't in any of season 3, which revolved around the team hunting down Damian Moreau by going after those who worked for him until they did finally catch up to Moreau in the finale, 'The San Lorenzo Job.' He doesn't have a good relationship with anyone from the team, and Eliot is very likely to greet him with a chokehold next time he sees him. What do you think will be bringing him back?
