GIMP Colouring Tutorial #005
Going from this: 
to this:
1. Open up your base and whatnot.
2. Add your text. Mine is Century Gothic at size 12. The colour is 9e241e.
3. Add this texture:
by dusty_memories
. Set to 'Multiply' at 100% opacity.
4. Create a new layer in this colour: f6fafd. Set to 'Overlay' at 100%.
5. Fill another new layer with d0b982. Set this one to 'Overlay' at 100% as well.
6. Create another new layer filled with fad4f7. Set it to 'Burn' at 100%.
7. Make and fill yet another new layer with e4fad4. Again, set it to 'Burn' at 100%.
8. Make one last new layer filled with 9e241e. Set this to 'Soft Light' at 60%. (*Note* if this layer is too reddish for your liking, lower the opacity. 30% often works well).
