I had forgotten Eomer. How can you forget Eomer?
I made my little brother read The Queen's Thief books. At first he was all, 'meh, it's okay' but I kept telling him to wait til he got to the end! Because then he would see why they were the greatest. And then, he got to the end of The Thief, and guess who was right? ME. I gave him books that he likes and there are no monsters or evil creatures in them anywhere! *sniff* I'm so proud.
But! He ruined my triumph when he got to the end of The Queen of Attolia. I kept waiting for him to come banging into my room and throw a brick at my head or something, and be all, 'dude! Who marries the person who cuts off their hand? Who does that? Who does that?' Cuz you know, he's a boy, and wouldn't understand. But no, he finishes it and he's all, 'yeah, I figured they'd get married.' I’m like 'WHOA! Hold the phones! You figured they’d get married?' And he's all, 'well, they mention arranged marriages in like one paragraph at the beginning of the book.' Like that explains it!
In other news, I have accomplished one of my life's goals with him as well. Last week both of my little brothers had semester break, so they were home from school. So he and I watched all three Lord of the Rings movies in one day. The extended editions, naturally. Yeah, we’re cool like that. ;)
Hence the LotR graphics, my first in like a year. That's how long it's been since I've watched those movies. That is way too long. I don’t like all of them, but I managed a couple b&w ones which do not look absolutely horrible, so I'm pretty happy. When I said someday I'd figure out black & white, I did not mean this soon.

Ahem, and just for the record, I was all finished being obsessed with Princess & the Frog, but then I went and listened to Superchic[k] and then I thought I ought to copy my PatF soundtrack onto my compy, and then I got all crazy about it again. That said, it’s nice to have a new princess movie to annoy my family with. :D
On an unrelated note, one of my former teachers looks like Bilbo. I’m serious… she looks just like him.
