(no subject)
Got back from Georgia last night. Oh man, what a blast! I finally got some color, and got to travel through parts of the state to which I have never been. Went to Six Flags Atlanta, which ended up being kind of a bust, because they kept having to close rides for various reasons (weather, maintenance, etc). But I always like being able to say "I've been there", so now I can say I've been to Savannah, Six Flags over Georgia, and JCPenney Outlet in Atlanta lol.
All in all, it was just an awesome vacation. I needed to get away. And as happy as I was to be there, I was just as happy to come home. I had hanging out with Zach to look forward to, and I found out yesterday that Nate is in MA for today and tomorrow, so I'm taking a trip out to Framingham after my shift today. Three tech school friends in a matter of two days!
So I move into my apartment on July 11, and then I'm leaving for tech school sometime around the 17th or 18th. I'll have a taste of what it is to live on my own, then shipping off for some good ol' active duty training. I'm really looking forward to it. I got all my blues taken care of last week, so now it's just a matter of packing and making the 22 hour drive :).
All in all, things are going really well for me right now. It's kind of nice reading a pleasant entry from me every once in a while, huh? :)
