YOSH!!! Now that the masquerade is out of the way, I'd like to announce a special weekly martial arts workshop for first to fifth years! If you're interested, fill out the form!

Martial arts experience (how many years, who taught you, what style)?
Any specialized training (weapons, etc)?
Strengths and weaknesses (kicks, stances, grappling, endurance, footwork, etc)?
Are you aware of martial arts etiquette?
Have you ever had to defend someone?
Have you ever fought out of anger?
Do you feel like a different person during a crisis?
Do you think violence can ever be justified?
In your experience, what are martial arts for?
What other factors might affect your training?
Applications will only be seen by the workshop's instructors. We'll meet every Sunday in [insert disused classroom] -- first and second years an hour after lunch, and third, fourth, and fifth years at six in the evening. For the first few sessions, we'll work on the basics: fitness, attitude, and the elements of different styles. When everyone's on the same page, we can move on to applied martial arts.
Who's excited? 'Cos I am!!!!!

Gai will spend most of Sunday morning forty feet above the Quidditch pitch, doing chin-ups on a broomstick as a consequence of a self-imposed rule made during the masquerade. Feel free to gape.]]
