... Is pretty dangerous, actually... I can think of a few things that would have been able to do that to Professor Jade...
... Though I'd have to wonder why he wandered that far into the Forrest, you have to go quite far in to find them...

..Did you know Jade's reputation? *wincing a little at all the angry messages he's left in the man's journal over the months, but darnit, the man is a menace!* He was... much talked about in my Auror classes. To think that he could be injured like that by something that close to the school.... it's very bad....

Huh? No, unfortunately not, I haven't been around the guy much, myself... And I tend to not listen overly much to other people's conversations most of the time... I take it it's unusual that something would be able to injure him so...?
*indifferent* Eeh, even still... There's a few things in the Forrest that could and easily would mess me up for a few days like that... To be honest I'm not sure why there's a Forrest full of such nasty stuff so freakin' close to the school, it's insane!

Hmm.... His exploits are legendary, even in the Auror department... If people knew that he'd actually been harmed, let alone this badly, they'd be astonished. I never thought that could happen.
*facepalm* There are supposed to be wards around the school to stop Dark creatures from getting through. Of course, even the light ones can be dangerous if threatened. But why would Jade... *trails off, baffled*

And yah, aside from just the creatures in it migrating around, the landmarks change, it's just as crazy as this messed up castle...

But yah... *ponders* ... Perhaps it was some kind of accident? I mean if it was a 'light' creature that did it... I know there are several things in there that can do that kind of damage, and if even a Unicorn was... Distressed enough... One doesn't think they can do much damage.

It would be strange... Whatever happened out there, it was something spectacular.
Of course -- even more so if their young were threatened. Light creatures, especially, will fight like dragons to protect those dear to them.
Many unicorns could do it. Even Dryads could, in sufficient numbers. But they usually don't attack in groups. The Acromantulas are more likely. *wonders how it's known that the attack was a creature at all... the rumor mill has ground on, it seems*

And that's very true... Is it that time of year for them? I don't know much about stuff like that... Heh, I mostly slept through Care of Magical Creatures class... *meek*
And that's just the things we 'know' are in there...
I don't think it's Werewolves, but I know there's a pack of wild dogs in there somewhere... And they're nastier and bigger then they 'should' be... I ran into a few of 'em last year...

... I'm just hoping that it wasn't a Dark Wizard or something... With all the incidents lately, it wouldn't be too strange for one or two of 'em to be lurking around...

*frowns* Wild dogs, hm? I don't think dogs could have harmed someone like Curtiss, but they might have stirred something else up....

Mm-hmm, though if by my saying 'wild dogs', you're merely thinking "Oh, like wolves or something?" you'd very much be wrong... These are bigger, and their teeth and claws are much sharper and longer... It's like someone crossed a big black dog and a panther and then gave 'em rabies or something...
But they usually aren't near the castle at all... I spent two days in there one weekend before I found them the first time...
Well, with the past incidents, would it truly be that hard to believe?
