Cup of tea, cup of tea, almost got shagged, cup of tea.
I got to see the lovely, lovely, lovely Miss Alex (mmb2) today! We went on our semi-annual outing to the Cheesecake Factory, where we had yummy food and shared caramel pecan turtle cheesecake (for my money, the best on their menu). We also discussed boys, girls, college, and sex. Then we went back to her house and watched Buffy. I've been helping Alex go through all of it - right now we're at the beginning of season six, and have watched through "Flooded." That is to say, Alex just got introduced to the Evil Trio. Fun fun fun fun fun. Sadly, I had to leave after that so that she could write a paper that she still has due. But yay for the day of Alex-related fun.
We've been decorating the Christmas tree, but since Grace is out with Ben, we've stopped so that there's still more to do when she comes home. But things are looking pretty. I got all type-a and started prioritizing the ornaments. Everything that's just a normal shiny ball is lowest priority. Everything else is sorted by weight (heaviest first for greatest branch selection) and sparkliness/luminescence (crystal should get first pick of the spaces with lights on them). I really am obsessive, to an extent that actually cuts into the fun of tree decoration.
One carton of egg nog down, one to go.
