I do not suppose there are any beds that are not hard as a rock down here? I have tried one in nearly every cabin, and they are all most uncomfortable. It would be better to sleep on the ground! When we were banished out of the tree last time, the accommodations, they were much better. I am not impressed. This place, it has always been poorly ( Read more... )

You're trapped in a Tree against your will, and you expect your demands for five-star accommodations to be taken into consideration?

Has anyone tried critiquing the management before?

You could say that, yeah. There have been a few complaints here and there.

Maybe you should start a Comment Box for future critiques of them?

There is a difference between telling someone to "get bent" and actually laying out the complaint, hm?

Who reads those? The key is lost the moment it goes up, and no one bothers to empty them out. No. They want us all to write in our little journals like good little citizens, so I write in my little journal.

There is, though complaints haven't been exclusive to Toushi or his particularly limited arguments and vocabulary.

Such an exemplary little citizen, Ambassador.
Do you think that even in the journals complaints are listened to, or just fall on deaf ears? Metaphorically speaking, of course.

That is only the most recent that I can think of. It stands out. Very pointed, no?

Yes, yes, of course. We are all exemplary in our own ways. Mine in mine, and you in yours, I am sure.

If getting answers means death, then someone must be reading to know who to kill. So everything is read.

Yeah, sure.

I do try.

Read, yet changes don't happen if they don't benefit/amuse The Management. Killing is ...amusement and/or beneficial. Your requests--here, there, anywhere--are just shouts into the void.

We all try.

And as I do not know the management, maybe my shouts will be amusing in some way. Or annoying enough that they do not care to hear them again. That is the point of complaining, no? Annoy enough so that they will give you anything just to go away?

Or they kill you to shut you up.

Good luck with that.

And there are some that will do the opposite of miss me, so they will win, for a time, hm? And then I will come back and smirk at him all over again.

Yes, yes. Luck, I am not sure it exists. But if it does, well. It would be nice if it showed itself from time to time, no?

Coming back is never a given.

I suppose, yeah. Luck is a fickle lady, I hear. Maybe you can entice her.

No, it is not. But then, if I do not come back, I am not trapped here. Death, it is not fun, but here, it can be not fun as well.

Ladies, they are always fickle. But for a time, they can be a joy.

I imagine death is neither fun nor not-fun. I'd guess it's pretty much...nothing.

I guess.

I have died here. It was pain. Nothing, it is preferable.

You, my good person, have not met the right ladies.

Dying is pain. Death is emptiness. Or do you mean it was painful in death, too?

Probably not. I've met a few nice ones, sure, but the right guy showed up first.

I mean that I was sliced into by Apostle.

So you are enamored? It will not last. But do have fun while it does, hm?
