(no subject)
Omg. I'm so happy right now that I can't stop sobbing.
Kris just called me from work and goes, "well, I guess you don't want to find out where we're going for our next base, so I'll let you wait until our orders officially come out next week!" If he had been home, I'd have kicked him in the nuts. HAHAHAHA So, after about 5 minutes on the phone threatening horrible things on him if he didn't tell me, he finally gave in.
Our next base will be...
LANGLEY AFB, VA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was the top base on our updated dream sheet (based on the list of our possible bases) and we got it!!!!!! After we hung up, I just lost it and I've been sobbing happy tears ever since. We'll be close enough to BOTH of our families for occassional visits, but not so close that they'll ALWAYS be at our house. We got our #1 choice!!!! I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOO BEYOND thrilled right now. We got an AWESOME base (from what I hear) and all I can say is that it is about damn time!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, I'm going to go get some house cleaning done, wait for my daddy to call me back, and cry! Bye all!!! ♥
