Earlier that week, Gage had heard tell of the (in)famous V-Day, and watched it approach with equal parts dread and disdain. Now that it was finally the day, he couldn't bring himself to feel anything but apathy. What a pointless celebration... best just to ignore it all. Gage grimaced as he tried to repel mental imagery of the variety of bizarre animals and monsters that might be brought together by such an occasion.
The most he would do is try to avoid standing under any plants. If there were any equivalents to mistletoe he hadn't heard about, playing it safe might keep him out of trouble, like what happened around Christmas. "Hope I don't run into that weird spiky-headed kid..." he muttered under his breath, when he suddenly felt a sharp, cupid-bot-related pain in his neck. Looking back, he saw no one, and his hand brushed away a small pin from his neck, though he didn't feel it.
