(no subject)
once again... a quick entry before class.
i am late scheduling classes... because I DONT KNOW WHAT TO TAKE. its so depressing to know so many people are graduating in 4 years and if i get into the college of nursing... it'll be 5 for me.... if i dont get in this semester... it could be 5.5 or 6. gaaaaahhh!!! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO worried.
i dont want to have a back up plan. i want to be a nurse.
im excited about going home this weekend. i plan on attending good friday mass here at msu. even if i go alone. actually- id probably prefer it. good friday is always really intense for me. i tend to get pretty overwhelmed. my faith life has been a constant struggle this year. i want to find hope in a n unexpected place.
but yeah- excited about home because i do believe saturday night a bunch of we sterling heightsers gals might all go out for a drink or something.
im NOT looking forward to easter as much because Shelley wond be home. It really takes away a lot from my family when shes not here.
im stressing about the wedding shower. i feel as thought i havent been much help. wish the thing wasnt right after finals.
i had my work banquet last night. it was in an award show format. i got nominated for best attitude, most entertaining, and rookie of the year. overall- i was pleased with my nominations :-) the dinner was unimpressive.. btu i had fun with my work friends making fun of everything. then we kareoked. yeah.. it was pretty lame. singing with missy and lisa and my friends on their setup spoils me to think everyone rocks and gets platinum ratings everytime.... thats just nto a realistic expectation. haha. but yeah- one group did "piano man" and when the harmonica part came around... i busted out my 2 octave harmonica from my purse (which i conveniently always have with me in case of such emergency) and rocked out with the song. a certain disbelief in the form of enexpecting gasps slipped out of a few mouths.. namely because i actually knew how to play it (sheeeeer luck) but it was amusing to pull that out of my ass and cause some amusement.
i enjoy this time of year.
i prefer the sound of the bird and the wind in the morning over iPod. Something about it. :-)
