Alright. by now, everyone has heard of the scandal in which american soldiers have tortured iraqi POWs. it was recently found that some extremists have beheaded an american citizen. (note, that's singular)

The Bush administration said those who beheaded Berg would be hunted down and brought to justice.
''Our thoughts and prayers are with his family,'' White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan said. ''It shows the true nature of the enemies of freedom. They have no regard for the lives of innocent men, women and children.''
i don't have much more to say, except this:
what is more horrible: hundreds of americans torturing hundreds of POWS, or hundreds of iraqis painlessly and instantly killing one innocent civilian?
the 'victim' may be a civilian, and he may be innocent... but what is he doing in a BATTLEFIELD? america kills innocent civilians every day. BASRA.
