(no subject)
all my equipment was breaking at the show on thursday. it was terrible. first my cable stopped working, so i had to go directly into my amp, then the string on the telecaster (which i had just restrung) broke, so i had to use danny's guitar, which i accidentally pulled the jack out of when i jumped/fell off of georges bass drum. i have trouble balancing sometimes when we are playing, i get a little lightheaded i think... well anyway, my mom tells me now since im not sure if im going to college, i can use the money ive been saving in my savings account to buy some new equipment, cause i guess if im going to be touring and stuff, i cant have shitty equipment, i need sturdy stuff. first thing i get are some monster cables. those things last apparently, and even if they dont, the have a lifetime warranty!! i just gotta be careful cause people will try to jack those cables. im going to disguise them as shitty cables though. haha peter and i were talking about how i should make decoy cables with "monster" labels on them, and then people would steal them and they would just be really crappy old cables. ive also been considering what i should do about my distortion and effects situation, cause i kinda like the processor, but its so shitty.... and its not dependable. i dont know what kinda amp i should get either. *Sigh* i need the assistance of richard rousey. im sure he knows whats good and whats not and all that jazz. i taught george how drive a manual transmission yesterday. he did pretty good, way better than i did. i stalled the car like ,every friggin time, he only stalled maybe 3 or 4 times. emily came and watched too. it was fun but then they started to fight about this game push-push on emilys phone. who gets in a fight over push-push??(Besides the oddest couple of all odd couples)johnny cash died the other day, its pretty sad... he was a badass. it was so funny though cause we were at andrews and someone was like " how did he die?" and andrew was like " reports say he fell into a burnin' ring of fire" hahahahaha i thought it was hilarious. im a nerd. anyway....then we drove around for forever looking for a mexican food restraunt at the request of emily. afterwards we went to caseys and kevin and george and i spent the night over there, it was fun. kevin and i went to the library today looking up stuff for our research paper for english. its so easy in terms of having to think about it, but in terms of work, its just sooooo much friggin work. its so stupid. im doing a literary analysis of the butter battle book though. i love dr. seuss. he is so awesome.
