Writer's Block: Gamer's Choice
How do I not answer this? Like really.
There's so many choices here that my brain can kind of hurt. But I think when it comes down to it, there's too much associated with the usual cop-out answer for me not to give it. Honestly, it's probably Super Mario Bros. 3 more than the original, but it's still one of those oft-given answers. But seriously, I adore the game. It's a constant staple in my life, and it's one of those games I can always play, and always enjoy.
If you've never played it... I kind of wonder what is wrong with you. It's Mario perfected on the NES. You can argue about later iterations with me all you want, but Mario 3 is perfect in a lot of ways. There's no searching to unlock items, but there is all sorts of stuff that's hidden. I wasn't aware of a lot of the games secrets until recently. There's item houses and tricks for levels and all sorts of junk.
So go play it. Now.
