What a day.

To say i'm having a rough day today would be an understatement. I'm having to endure really dull product training (and pretty much dying the whole time as it's one nugget of useful information followed by tons of irrelevant info) which wouldn't be bad except for the parallel story going on, which is that last night i found someone's obviously lost kitten at a gas station. I was going to leave it but when I opened the door to my car it crawled in, curled up on the passenger's seat and started purring and rolling on its back and begging for attention. After petting it a while I decided I can't leave it alone there, so I brought it home. It sat on the passenger's seat with its paws on the dashboard watching over it for the first half of the car ride, then curled in my lap and purred for the rest. I thought this was going to be easy.

The SECOND I brought it in the house (curled in my hoodie) it turned into a FUCKING DEATH HELLION FROM FUCKING HADES FULL OF CLAWS AND HISSING AND BITING and my entire hand is chewed up and full of cat holes. After fighting it into a carrier I tried to bring it to the SPCA but they said they were going to put her down since there is no room (WTF!?!?), so now she's living in my car in the parking lot and peeing all over it, which is gross, but I don't want to leave her in the carrier all day, that's terrible. Either way I went down to check on it and it jumped out of the car almost instantly and I had to chase it all over the parking lot five or ten times (which was awful.) At some point, when I was on break from training laid out on my stomach under a co-worker's jeep batting around my hands trying to grab the cat while it hissed and clawed at me, I contemplated just letting it go, but. I can't. I see it in my head wandering onto a street nearby and getting hit by a car. Worst ever. Originally her temporary name was diesel but now she's named beep because she beeps and squeaks when she rolls around.

I got the number of a woman I think the cat belongs to... I am going to have its microchip scanned at lunch (in the event it has one.) I hope it's the right person.

She doesn't seem too enthusiastic about getting the cat back, basically if I want to do it I'm going to have to completely shuffle my schedule up, she's not really willing to do anything to work with me.

Fml.
