Oh, that was achingly beautiful. I love the Carrie tie-in, and especially:

They're alone, with James up front, and her behind, getting his back (always, absolutely).

Also, I think this was so great because you mentioned Ben. Any Juliet fic should have a touch of Ben, because he had to have screwed her up pretty good.
