I have Minus the Bear/Straylight Run tickets, and Jack's Mannequin tickets! That week in February is going to be crazy awesome, with FOB then these two shows (and then of Montreal the week after). :DDDDDD

Everything you could possibly want to know (well, within non-stalkery limits!) about a certain Australia guitar player with The Academy Is... I still can't get over the insane transition (the speed and the range) from playing in a church band (albeit for a megachurch with a massive presence in the Christian rock charts) to falling in with my new favourite hard drinking hard partying DORKS in a band. Anyway. Awesome primer, and definitely worth checking out if you are ever thinking of writing some fic with MGC in it (which you should!)
Yesterday, I was watching the tennis with the sound low, and then I realised, with growing horror and fascination, that Channel 7's latest two minutes long Sports 2009 promo is soundtracked to Hey Monday's Homecoming. Random FBR songs for sports promos will never stop making me LOL.
