a. Never have I wanted fanart as much as I did when I read littlerhymes's new fic, Odd Squad (They have superpowers! They fight crime!). It's fabulous and quirky and so vividly drawn.

(okay, rereading this sentence, I'm worried that it comes across wrong. I mean that her story is so fabulous that I can see the images in my head, and it would look awesome illustrated.)

b. refresh my memory: is there an Askewinever bandom crossover? Where Bob is, well, Silent Bob, Frank is Jay, and Gerard is Holden...

...and continue casting as you see fit! Let me know in the comments too, I'm curious to know who you'd cast as Banky, because at this moment Bert is the frontrunner for me, so who would you cast as Alyssa?

c. I-wish-I-could-vid, part the 800th: a Panic at the Disco vid set to "Gay Eskimo", which would basically consist of footage of Brendon molesting/staring longingly at FBR dudes. He's the only gay Eskimo in his tribe. =(

d. jossish wanted some music recs, so I uploaded a whole bunch of songs, and I thought it'd be nice to share:

The Hush Sound play indie pop, but their latest album is more jazz/blues influenced.
Wine Red
Honey

Dappled Cities Fly are an Aussie band I really like. They're indie rock, I guess; but with a sunnier touch than most. Fire Fire Fire never ever fails to make me chair-dance.
Work It Out
Fire Fire Fire

Jens Lekman is a really really charming Swedish singer, and does this almost-twee storytelling indie-pop that's sweet and lovely.
The Opposite of Hallelujah
A Postcard to Nina

Band of Horses - I'm going to see them in August, yay!
Is There a Ghost
Monsters

Silversun Pickups are indie rock, and I really like the gritty, driving guitar sound.
Melatonin
Future Foe Scenarios

Straylight Run are wussy. But I love them for it.
It Never Gets Easier (.m4a)
Your Name Here (sunrise highway)*

Sarah Slean is a Canadian female singer-songwriter that I quite like.
California
Out in the Park

This Is Ivy League is a New York indie-folk/pop duo.
Modern World
London Bridge

* Your Name Here makes me so Jesse/John tinhatty

e. Nate and Gabe show us how to make amateur softcore! Wait. Oh, it's just a Warped tour video. Eh, either way...wet half-naked tanned boys rubbing liquid soap onto each others' chests. 0_o
