It's not the first time Gwen's drifted off at her station and it happens a little more often now, thanks to the loss of Tosh and Owen. Really, three people aren't enough for such a large job, but Gwen takes it all in stride. Rhys knows well enough by now that her being gone some nights isn't a sign of problems in the marriage. It's just how devoted she is to her work. He takes it all in stride, too. Usually.
Now, she's bent over her station, her head pillowed on her folded arms, the volume on the various programs she's running set higher so she'll hear them if she's needed. There's a soft chime from something running in the background, and Gwen shifts restlessly, as if in response. Once the noise goes silent again, then so does she, for a little while.
After a few minutes, her arm twitches and she groans, dark hair sliding along her back and over part of her visible face as she shifts. A moment later, her arm tenses and drops away from the desk, sliding out to hang limply at her side only to slam into the underside of the workstation when she jerks upright a second, crying out, her eyes wide and glassy.
