from one thing to another

last weekend, i was cuddled in a blanket on the couch with my cat perched atop me trying to absorb whatever warmth she could in our furnaceless apartment. this weekend, i am recovering from emergency oral surgery due to wisdom teeth that suddenly decided to give me to most excruciating pain ever earlier this week. yesterday i was able to have them pulled by a very nice doctor who didn't think i was making up the pain at all. in fact, he showed me my x-rays and explained just why it was hurting me so bad. it's always my biggest fear in those situations that the doctor won't believe that i'm in pain at all.

what a week it has been... i think i'm ready for a vacation.
