Alterac Valley and Horde Advantages

Jun 22, 2007 09:59

It's almost stupid how the Battlegrounds Alterac Valley is setup more in favor for the horde (not to mention all the bugs and exploits)... let me explain...

So I ran AV yesterday, like ALL DAY... hehe got my epic PvP cape :P

Anyways a few things I noticed in AV...

1. The route that the horde have to take to get to the alliance boss is much shorter than the alliance route to their boss.

2. The graveyard cap are spaced in a way more to the horde's advantage... for example frost wolf graveyard, which when capped by the alliance, is far ride back to the horde base. In relation, the Stormpike graveyard, is a lot shorter... the just go over the alliance bridge and they are back.

3. There are also a lot more NPCs to deal with when getting to Drek (horde boss).

4. and the one that bugs the heck out of me... is that the horde can actually go inside Vann's room (Alliance boss)... without aggroing him or any of the marshals (Vann's guards)... and single pull Vann... where in relation... the alliance have to single pull all the Warmasters before we can even attempt Drek... and not to mention he has two pet wolves which we have to deal with in there... and guess what? The alliance don't have any pets helping out Vann inside his room... :P

~This all excluding the exploits to cap a tower flag from 40ft away or cap a flag behind a wall or pull an npc through a wall... :P

*Bonks Blizzard on the head*

Oh well...

In retrospec... I've actually found something I like to do in Alterac Valley... that would be to stay back and defend Vann's room... basically when the horde get in there... I AOE fear everyone into Vann and his marshals... usually resulting in wiping the horde... :)

Yay!!!

**sorry to my friends that play horde**
