I loved this show when I was a kid.
My mom used to buy me any of the books I asked for from the series. At night, I would read aloud to her from them. I would change A.C Crispin's "shit" and "fuck" to "shoot" and "freak" on the fly. My mom would crack up slightly when I would do this but I wouldn't quite understand where the laughter or muffled snickering was coming from; I was nervous that she might "catch on" to the text I was actually reading and not buy me any more. It's funny to think on that now.
The show is coming back. I'm interested. I can't wait to see what the Resistance looks like this time. It seems like a huge undertaking bringing this back. I don't imagine that it will be better than the recent Battlestar Galactica series, but just the same, I'm hooked already. Bring on November!
