I have not particularly liked this day. I woke to the lovely sight of trash strewn all over my yard (for the second day in a row, I might add), courtesy of my neighbors' dogs. Apparently, yesterday's quick fix was not successful. I cleaned up everything and blocked off the trash can in a corner, with a large, heavy object in front of it. And they just pushed it out of the way somehow. Clever little bastards. So, I have a few different possible solutions for that now, but am not feeling well enough to execute any of them.
At school, I had the worst migraine of my life for no apparent reason. I came up with a few theories, but none of them seem to justify that hellacious headache. It impaired my vision - for a while, I almost could not read and my peripheral vision was failing. I could only see what I focused on (looked directly at), and felt very disoriented and nauseous. I barely made it through my first two classes of the day and skipped the last one to go to the doctor. Even then, I just had to sit in my car for a while, waiting to feel confident that I had enough control over myself to drive a few miles down the road.
They gave me some pills, an IV, and a few shots. I can still feel tension in my neck and head, but that helped tremendously. I am really lucky that my doctor's office is so close to school and that they were able to help me. Otherwise, I do not know what I could have possibly done other than just trying to drive home and sleep it off.
