FREE Music!
I have been wondering for a while what the status was of a band named Home Town Hero. They supposedly recorded a new CD a long time ago, and I had yet to hear anything about if/when it would be released. The Home Town Hero website still says nothing more than "coming soon". But.. I happened to look the band up on My Space the other day and found out that they changed their name to Under the Influence of Giants and that the entire album ("Bitch City") is available for download in MP3 format for free at their official website.
"we want you to download all the songs we put up, burn them to cd, pass them around to friends, whatever you want to do with them. we're getting fucked by our old label, so it's our turn to fuck them. we wrote these songs, and feel that we have the right to do whatever we want with them. what we want is for y'all to have them any way we can."
So, if you can never seem to get enough of new music (like myself), please give them a listen. If you don't want the whole album, I recommend tracks 9, 8, 5, 3, and 2. It is available at www.undertheinfluenceofgiants.tv, or I have placed direct links to each song under the cut, since I had issues with my media player wanting to just stream them, instead of letting me save them..
