(no subject)
yesterday i went to boston common to help out at a church service for homeless people. we gave them food too. it was really fun but SUPER cold!! it took like 2 hours after to warm up almost completely
mrs stiffler couldnt figure out where she parked in teh parking garage. it was super funny. we found it quickly after cause i had the idea of pressing the car button. lol
mason wouldnt stop being super annoying. it was funny though
today we went on a field trip!
it was SUPER FUN!
we went to framingham state college Challenger space simulation and planetarium!
my dad chapperoned too
i was on the probe team with kyle!
first we started out on mission control
we read the thing and did a work sheet.
we worked on the computers and monotored things
then we went to be the astronauts on the space ship
we got to wear these 'super cool' blue vests :0
we went through the air lock thing and it was kinda freaky lol
the thing spun around us
it was just the lady spinning it
me and kyle got to be separated from the crew. we were in another room through glass doors.
we put on our headsets and talked to kahley and anthony in mission control.
we put together the probe with all the cables and parts.
it was really easy but fun
then they put us on the remote computers
we used the buttons on teh computer to control the robotic arm to pick up moon rocks
it was kinda hard but it was fun
the buttons kept freezing and the screen was hard to see what u were doing on
then we had lunch
walking through the building was funny
the college students kept laughing at us and they looked confused lol
we ate dowmstairs and watched the price is right and other random shows we found
i was talking with people while some kids were playing games..lol it was funny to watch but what do u expect when mallory comes up with these games? lol
then we couldnt find mr strout (he was with the other group and was late getting us)
we walked to the planetaruim and watched something on eclipses and other random stuff.
it was really fun but BORING and it hurt my neck a little.
then we got back on the bus and left
my dad brought me home 20 minutes early.
i made it home before my sister.
actually we picked her up at her bus stop (the corner of the street near our house lol)
i ate a cinnamon roll, 2 chocolate cupcakes and a WHOLE PIE. lol it was a mini 3 inch chocolate and graham cracker one ;)
now here i am!!
and glad i wasnt in school today!
