Today's travel notes are posted at
my travel blog, as always. But here are just the pictures if that's all that interests you.
I must; however, talk about my lunch. Schnitzel, sauerkraut and melted swiss on a homemade roll, German potato salad and a dill pickle spear.
Om nom nom nom nom. Honestly, the best schnitzel I ever had. Better than any I had in Germany. And I'll tell you why. IT WASN'T DROWNING IN SAUCE. It was just breaded and fried pork, dressed simply with kraut and swiss. Almost every single time I ordered schnitzel in Germany, it was doused in hollandaise sauce, which always hid the flavor of the schnitzel. This was crispy and well-seasoned and just FANTASTIC. And that's exactly what I told our server too - that the schnitzel was fantastic.
Lunch made me happy. That was the best part of the day for me.
