That's the end of another weekend. I can't believe how quick they pass me by - even though I did manage to do something else rather than just stare at the computer screen. For example, I watched the special two hour episode of
Ikebukuro West Gate Park so now I'm completely done with the series - unless they decide to release another set of episodes, which I wouldn't disgree with at all. I can't stress enough how much I enjoyed this series.
I also watched two episodes of "Jigoku Shoujo" and, well, it is pretty and it has a very nice soundtrack but the episodes are too repetetive to allow me watching more than one in a row. Normally I like to marathon series, or at least watch two episodes back to back, but with the formulaic way these episodes are made, it would be too boring. I'm not saying the series is bad, because it isn't. It's just.. ugh. I dunno. It would have suited me better if there was some sort of bigger story to it, instead of the self-contained episodes. (Maybe there is a bigger story, I don't know, since I haven't finished watching yet - but after watching 7 episodes I would think it should have had plenty of time to emerge now :| )
