So. Hello again.
I spent the weekend visiting the lovely
T-chan, and I already miss her. I curse you, horrible distances! ;_; We watched weird horror movies, as usual, but since we seem to have run through all the asian flicks at the local video rental, we moved over to a british
werewolf movie which was on the whole quite ok, and a spanish/american movie about a ghost
nun, which was most definitely not. The first one also spawned the greatest game idea the world will sadly never see - wouldn't you like to play a zombie-killing game with disturbing psychological undertones, resource handling, a lot of demanding puzzles and of course weird and irrelevant mini games? I know I would. XD
And then there were the usual deeply weird, interesting, humorous and completely and utterly wrong discussions all through the night. Awesome, in other words. (New year's gonna be great! ♥)
We tried "Rule of Rose" - that PS2 horror game where you play a wimpy, apparently amnesiac orphan girl who is bullied by other orphans ten years her minors. The camera hated us, and so did the first and only boss fight we attempted. Oh well. But the game was interesting enough, even though the main characters pissed me off.
Then there was also Kuon and I think I'll have to buy that one. Yay for slaying demons and ghosts with physical weapons, for once! though I still wouldn't mind a Camera Obscura nicked from Project Zero . I can do some wicked combos with the one from the first game. Die, you bloated corpses!
Did I forget anything? Oh! Right!
Wire in the Blood was exaclty as brilliant, USTy and awesome as T-chan has reported for quite a while now. Need to rent the rest of the series and marathon through it. SOON.
...and now it's back to exhausting work. T_T Didn't even have time to spam the regulars today, all busy all the time. Wangst. I'm thinking my sofa looks mighty appealing right now, but first... food! :D
